The environmental is constantly changing and are frequently on the news.
After conducting my survey to 30 boys and girls in the 11th grade in the American International School In Abu Dhabi, the differences are clearly present. In the first set of data, both boys and girls understand that the Earth is running out of resources, but the boys just edged it with their knowledge.
In the second set, boys would more likely encourage others to reduce waste and make the most out of what they have. No boy would strongly disagree with that, while some girls would, showing that girls in the school care less about waste than boys. The third set shows that both genders would maybe be infestered in joining a club about the environment, showing that both boys and girls would not go to extensive limits and take action to help the world. The fourth set of graphs depicts that girls would take more actions over boys if they see someone litter. Girls would more likely notify the litterer of their wrongdoing, rather than a boy would. The fifth pair of data shows that girls would more likely recycle than boys, continuing on with the pattern of girls putting in more work in helping the environment than boys. The boys seem to be lazier when it comes down to this. The last set explains how, again, girls would take action and turn off a running faucet. The boys had a more varied result, with each answer receiving a fair share. The girls are completely dominated with people who would take action. In conclusion, it is clear that girls care more about the environment than boys. The girls showed dominance in their ability to do small actions and notify others of helping the environment, while the boys do not seem to care with most results having people who strongly agree and some who strongly disagree. Although the girls would to small actions, they, like boys, would not go to great lengths and join clubs to make significant movements to help save the world. |
